SINEX- PR Syrup
Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that helps thin mucus. It works to thin down and break up phlegm (sputum) and is used to clear congestion in the treatment of respiratory diseases which have thick phlegm or too much phlegm. Ambroxol is more effective in productive cough treatment associated with the formation of sticky and thick mucus in the airway passages and is difficult to clear. Ambroxol is also used as a pain reliever for sore throats as it has a local numbing effect. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant. It helps loosen congestion in chest and throat, making it easier to cough out through mouth. It is used to reduce chest congestion caused by the common cold, infections, or allergies. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator medicine that widens the airways and is used to relieve breathing difficulties that come with asthma. Menthol provides a cooling sensation. It is used to treat minor sore throat pain, or mouth irritation.
